GHK-Cu
A naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide studied for skin remodeling, wound healing, and anti-inflammatory properties. Available in 50mg and 100mg liquid vials.
What Is GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper) is a naturally occurring tripeptide with high affinity for copper(II) ions. First identified in human plasma, GHK-Cu levels decline significantly with age. Over 60 published studies have examined its effects on collagen synthesis, wound healing, skin remodeling, and gene expression modulation. Research by Dr. Loren Pickart and others has shown GHK-Cu can influence the expression of over 4,000 genes.
History
GHK-Cu was first identified in 1973 by Dr. Loren Pickart during research at the University of California, San Francisco. Pickart observed that liver tissue from young donors produced a factor that caused old liver tissue to synthesize proteins at a rate comparable to young tissue. This factor was eventually identified as the GHK tripeptide. The discovery of its copper-binding properties and subsequent research into its gene expression effects expanded understanding of its biological role far beyond its initial identification as a growth-modulating factor.
Certificate of Analysis (COA)
Every batch of our peptides is independently tested by third-party laboratories to verify purity, identity, and potency. We maintain 98%+ purity standards across our entire product catalog.
Reconstitution & Storage
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water (BAC water). Using a sterile syringe, slowly inject 1-2mL of BAC water into the vial, directing the stream against the glass wall. Do not inject directly onto the lyophilized powder. Gently swirl until fully dissolved. Do not shake.
Store unreconstituted vials at room temperature away from direct sunlight. After reconstitution, store at 2-8°C (standard refrigerator). Use within 30 days of reconstitution. Do not freeze.
For research purposes only.
